Angel sent from HEAVEN

Black hair blew lightly in the wind as the winged girl walked. She stared at all the humans around her. They were everywhere. ~Do the job and go home.~ she thought to herself over and over again as she walked on. It was hard to work down here on Earth. Everything was so dirty and now dying from this race.

Vieo was sitting on a bench. His head down as he traced the stitches across his wrists. He was handsome with brown hair that hung across his face and green eyes that sparkled. He also was a bit stronge and showed that off with a muscle shirt and jeans. He seemed lost in some way though. Lost to the world and himself.

"Do the job and go home. That is it. Now where is he?" she questioned herself. Smiling the angel spotted the man she had been looking for. He was sitting on a bench. The angel sat beside him and smiled. "Hello." she whispered.

"I don't know you," Vieo answered and as if he hadn't even heared her he got up and walked a few yards away. He wasn't comfortable with others even remotly being around him. As he himself still struggled with the idea of being dead. The clock work that let him be animated made him also feel alive.

Leah pulled her white dress down a bit as she followed the man. She smiled sweetly as she touched his shoulder. "I never said you knew me dear. I know you though." she whispered into his ear. She wanted this to go quickly. Her job was to kill him and then return home, nothing else.

"Then what do you want with me?" Vieo turned a bit angry that she persisted to touch him when he so obviously wanted to be alone. Though his anger was evident there was a bit of fear as he looked her up and down. He wasn't afraid of her but if she persisted with this he was afraid of what he could do to her. If she died would she also be doomed to walk the earth like him? It seemed wrong to curse her like that.

"I was sent here to kill you. Now can we do this slow or quick? It is your choice." she said with a smile. "You are a threat to man kind and I must protect the lives of this race. There for I must kill you. Do not take it to heart please. It is just my job."

Vieo looked at her as if she had just said that cows said quack. "Do you know what it's like? Being dead but alive at the same time. I don't even know my real name I've been dead for so long," he paused looking her up and down, "Kill me, again then. I've done it before it can't be nearly as bad as the first time."

Leah sighed. He was going to make this hard on her. That was not fair. "No I do not know what it is like to die. I was not born to this world, but to the heavens. I am sorry. " she whispered now lost in thought. She turned and walked away. She knew it would be better to leave.

Vieo walked beside her. Now they were on his turf. Calm now and more level headed he spoke, "So an angel perhaps?" He kept step beside her, not letting her get away. If she was an angel she might become fallen for resisting to do gods will or what ever. He had never been religiouse in this life or his last but he knew how to go to hell. Mostly because he knew he was going there anyway.

"Why are you following me?" she asked him as she stopped and looking him in the eyes. "Yes I am. My name is Leah. " she whispered looking him up and down. "I am not going to fall, love. You see my job is to protect humans from you. I can do that in a few ways."

Vieo ignored her question and asked, "Such as?" He waved his hand in the keep going motion. "I'm Vieo Stitching by the way," he at least gave her that liberty.

"Keep you busy. Now leave me alone." she whispered walking away before taking flight. She already knew what his name was.

Vieo couldn't fly so he just stood there and watched her. It was strange meeting an angel. He wasn't supposed to kill any way he was supposed to learn to be human. If that included him learning to kill he didn't know. So instead he turned and walked back down the street with his hands in his pockets. It was lonely being the undead.

The angel flew down and laid in front of him in the air as he walked. "So learning about humans is your maind goal in life?" she asked him.

"I guess if you would even call this life," Vieo said simply as he looked at her suspiciously. She had been so ready to leave and now she was reading his thoughts and following him. It all seemed a bit odd even for someone part of the undead.

"Well your life sucks." she pointed out sweetly. "Anyway why do you want to study them?" she asked as she landed on her feet.

"Because Clock-work wants me too. Plus I don't remember anything except dieing when I was alive," Vieo didn't take any offence to it. His life pretty much did suck. He had nothing and no one. Not like he really wanted someone to love or anything, that all seemed useless, it would just be nice to not be alone all of the time. Detached from the living yet he couldn't fall to death.

"Who is this Clock-Work?" she asked looking at him with deep blue eyes. "Well that sucks. You should watch tv. I believe that will keep you out of trouble more." she said not wanting to kill him but wanting to go home now. "Now are you going to be good so I can leave you alone?" she asked with a smile.

"I'm always alone," Vieo retorted ignoring anything else she said as he turned away and headed in a different direction. Fine he would be a good little puppy and stay out of trouble. Bah, not even god had the right of telling people how to live there lives.

Leah turned and flew to Vieo. "So you want to hang out with an angel?" she asked wrapping her arms around his body. "If you do I will stay with you. I have nothing else to do." she whispered into his ear in a seductive way.

Vieo cringed a bit and detached her arms from him, "Sorry, I'll have to warm up to being touched first. Though you can stay if you want." He shrugged, not really knowing if he wanted her to come or not. Though he thought he wanted some coffee. He couldn't drink things but he could taste them. "Want some coffee?" He started heading in the direction of a coffee shop he liked.
